Amideast/Lebanon is pleased to offer the unique opportunity for highly qualified Syrian students in Lebanon to receive assistance to identify scholarships for a bachelor’s degree at a U.S. university.

ABOUT THE SAFAR-IBIARY SYRIAN COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM

The Safar-Ibiary Syrian College Prep Program is launched in honor of Madiha Safar and Naima Ibiary who instilled in their families a deep appreciation for the value of education which has made all the difference in their lives, and now in the lives of students as well!

This program makes the dream of studying in the United States possible for highly qualified Syrian students from underserved populations in Lebanon. Through this initiative, Amideast is able to identify students of exceptional accomplishment and promise who wish to pursue undergraduate study at an American college or university but cannot afford to do so.

The program provides support for essay writing assistance, application and testing fees, and 1st year activities.
